10 master takes of Teddy Wilson's 1939 solo piano recordings for Milt Gabler's Commodore records. 2 extra tracks with clarinetist Edmond Hall are included but they must be accessed manually (.m3u will not load them) Multiple alternate takes of these 10 exist but they are not included here. Teddy Wilson, according to my ears and taste, is perhaps the most widely appealing jazz pianist (along with Oscar Peterson of course.) By this I mean that their playing is so musical that just about anybody would tend to like it; transcending even cultural preferences. FYI: Actor Billy Crystal is a nephew of the late Milt Gabler
